I've harvested all of that inspiration that those beloved series have bestowed upon me while growing up in the 2000s and put all of those inspirations across these 12 tracks I composed throughout this past winter. Secondly, while feeling reminiscent, I've retraced the time when we first started chatting with Amenti team.. I saw very early versions of the game on one of the Facebook indie game groups around August of 2022 and contacted the developers sharing my enthusiasm, how much I resonated with the game's setting, how it reminded me of the beloved Diablo series and how incredible it would be to work on music for it.. Almost a year later I went to my very first game conference - Game Access in Brno, Czechia and Book of Aaru was showcased there with a demo version, that's where I met one of the lead developers in person for the first time, and another 1.5 years from there I was reached out to by the team that there was an opening in the audio department, and so the rest is history.. So it's not only a story of how I got to work on a kick ass Egyptian inspired OST which was a dream of mine for years, but also a story of how long-term relationships in the game industry can turn out.
