Legacy of Kain series made a huge impact on me. I remember seeing my dad play Soul Reaver II when it just came out back in the 2001 feeling so captivated by the world of Netgoth. It was far too complex to understand all if it's philosophy for me at the time, as well as appreciate all the little details, but I was immediately drawn to it's aesthetics and set myself a goal to complete the game without any help from my dad xD Many years have passed by, and I have eventually forgotten all about the game, as it stayed a mental image in the archives of my memories... it was not until 2010 when we started to revisit some of the games from our early childhood with my younger brother Yehor. That was the moment we have rediscovered Legacy of Kain series, and fell in love with it all over again. Around the time when I was writing my first video game compositions (2015-2016) I started looking for remakes of Legacy of Kain games, and found 2 incredible projects, one of which was "Blood Omnicide" and the other one was "Soul Revenant". There is such a dedicated fan base out there, waiting for the game to be resurrected. I immediately reached out to the Soul Revenant team regarding recomposing the soundtrack for the game, and from there started a journey that continues up until this day. Analyzing original compositions, sampling and remixing them, adding new synthesizers, new guitar recordings and samples of my own, changing the composition's structure, I have a lot of fun working on these. I still continue making Soul Reaver OST revisits to this day and aspire to cover both Soul Reaver 1 and 2. It is also one my most recognised projects to date with some of the tracks reaching over 50 000 views. My very first revisit was the track "Ruined City".
